I leave for Hawaii in 12 hours and have not packed in any way, shape or form. Hauled all my things from Brisbane --> Christchurch in vacuum bags on Friday.

Leaving Brisbane was much harder than I anticipated. My friends there had become like family to me, I know I will see them all again and keep in contact... that makes it a lot easier.

I do love Christchurch, despite the rough year it has had. It makes me nervous thinking about how long I will be away for and where I will end up.. especially at the end. At this point I'm thinking somewhere smaller in the South Island, New Zealand - possibly Cromwell or maybe Melbourne, Australia.. or maybe will end up back in Christchurch. I guess that all could be a long way off, so I will just see what happens!
